Kirby owns a 4.18 ERA through six starts, but if you take a look at his advanced numbers, he is due for some serious positive regression moving forward. He owns a 3.00 xERA and 3.08 xFIP, some of the best numbers in the American League.

At 22/1 odds, I think he is certainly worth a small play on the potential a top arm gets hurt and he goes on a strong run.

Max Fried, Braves (+2000, DraftKings)

You might think I'm insane taking Fried to win the NL Cy Young after the start he had, but I think he is a lot better than what he has shown to this point. 20/1 odds aren't impossible to hit, and if he didn't have a chance, his odds would be far higher.

Fried's advanced numbers say he is still pitching at a pretty high level, especially compared to his 4.97 ERA. He owns a 3.47 xERA and 3.56 xFIP, so he is due for some serious positive regression going forward.

At 20/1, I think he is worth a small sprinkle.
